Tell us about your horse?

I have a rising 5 Clydie x Australian Stock Horse named Vinnie. I bought him as a green broken baby almost 2 years ago.

He’s a really sweet horse, with a heart of gold. Sometimes he likes to make his rodeo aspirations known to the world but mostly he’s just an awesome dude who puts up with me bouncing around and talking to myself.

Describe a typical day for you:

1. Morning feed run featuring screaming horses who think they have never been fed ?‍♀️

2. Ride Vinnie. Try not to die.

3. Head to work for a full day of dietitian-y stuff.  Mostly telling people that lots of chocolate is not good for them. Followed usually by eating lots of chocolate.

4. Afternoon feed run featuring two helpful puppers running around barking at everything.

5. Eat, sleep, repeat!

What equestrian dreams are you chasing?

Vinnie is my first baby horse so as cliché as it sounds, every day training him and feeling him improve is a dream come true!

We currently compete prelim, I would love to get him to medium in the future.

How would you describe your personal style?

Comfortable and practical…

I guess stuff that doesn’t show the coffee I spilled down my front, or the grass stains from my slobbering horse!

What problems does your Sweet Iron gear solve?

Ever heard the saying short reins win gold medals?

Well my phone-friendly, ‘Second Skin’ Gloves are gonna get me the gold haha!

But seriously I’ve never liked wearing gloves and was always being roused on by coaches for my reins getting long.  Sweet Iron gloves are soo comfy, and help me keep a grip on the reins so they don’t get long and flappy.

Where can we stalk you?
